Serrano River itinerary
Day 1
Departure in our vehicle from Puerto Natales to the Serrano area, located in Torres del Paine National Park (if you are already in the park, we will pick you up from an agreed location)
On the bank of the Serrano River we will initiate the instruction to ensure a safe and comfortable trip. We will load the kayaks with the necessary equipment and with your luggage. If you have too much (more than a big bag per person) we’ll take it to Puerto Natales where it will remain safe in our offices until your arrival.
The adventure begins.
We will paddle to the Serrano fall (a beautiful cascade), where a short walk (100 metres approximately) and portaging the kayaks will allow us to avoid the waterfall.
* Please bear in mind that from the beginning to the end of the kayak trip the itinerary may have to be modified owing, of course, to the famous Patagonian wind.
We will look for an appropriate camping site.
A delicious dinner and a good rest will restore our strength allowing us to keep enjoying this adventure through the Patagonia.
Day 2
A complete and healthy breakfast will give us the energy to paddle to Puerto Toro.
Ready to paddle.
Arrival at Puerto Toro, where after a little trek we will be able to see the Serrano Glacier.
The beginning of our return to Puerto Natales on board a ferry through the “Última Esperanza Fjord”.
Lunch in “Estancia Perales”
Arrival at Puerto Natales. If you have left any luggage with us we’ll go to our office to pick it up.
-----END OF THE PROGRAM----

We invite you to choose the best alternative to come back to the city, much more fun and exciting…. What about paddle down the Serrano River in a Sea kayak? This river joins two national parks and is the maritime connection between Puerto Natales and Torres Del Paine. It’s a two-day trip to Puerto Toro, where we take a ferry, that wiil take us back to the town through the Ultima Esperanza fjord. On a clear day, you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Paine massif, and later of the majestic Tyndall, one of the many glaciers of the South ice field.
You will have the chance to appreciate virgin lands with exuberant vegetation, thousands of birds, and after a little while of paddling the imposing Chacabuco range and “Balmaceda Mountain” will rear up  in front of your kayak.
