Useful tips

Bring a long sleeve shirt and pants, ideally polipropilene or similar, that can help to a fast and easy dry and evaporation. The wool is a really good option as a second layer to the dry suit, always avoid cotton.

Don’t forget to bring sun protection, for your skin, eyes and head, if you wear a hat be sure that can not easily fly away with the wind and fasten you sunglasses.

Bring mosquitoes repellent.

Before and during the navigation ALWAYS follow the instructions and decisions of the guide, that sometimes could modify a Schedule or activity, always for your own safety (for example in case of bad weather conditions)

The Program includes:

Transfer from Puerto Natales to the boarding port.

Entrance fee to Bernardo O’higgins national Park.

All the meals including breakfast on day 1.

Complete sea kayaking equipment, including dry suits, double or single sea kayaks.

Mothership during the 5 days, including 4 nights of accommodation.

The program does not include:

Transportation from or to Punta Arenas.

Sleeping bag or mattress.

CLothes for under the Dry suit.

Sun Block or mosquitoes repellent.

Day 1:

Group Introduction, equipment check.

Departure in the mothership with destination to the Mountains Channel.

Lunch in the mothership.

View to La Paz mountains (also known as False Paine)

View to the Burney Volcano (the southernmost Mountain Volcano in south America)

Anchor in front of the Zamudio Glacier.

Paddling to the Zamudio glacier and return to the mothership.

Dinner and accommodation in the mothership.

Day 2

Breakfast in the mothership.

Paddling to approach to the Bernal Glacier, where we do a Little hike to get close to the glacier.

A Little break for a Box Lunch, and then we keep paddling to the Herman Glacier.

Day 3

Breakfast in the Mothership.

kayaking to the Alsina and Paredes Glaciers.

A break to enjoy a Box Lunch and keep paddling to the Paredes Glacier.

Dinner and accommodation in the Mothership.

Day 4

Breakfast in the mothership.

We begin our kayaking to the last part of the Mountain Channel.

A short break to have a Box Lunch with a privileged view, and then we keep paddling to the Mothership.

End of the kayaking.

Dinner and accommodation in the Mothership.

Day 5

Breakfast in the Mothership while we sail back to Puerto Natales.

Mountains Channel with Mothership (5 days)

A 50 kilometers long channel with 5 glaciers to visit and with all the amenities of a mothership for a good rest. In this program you have the chance to know the wild Patagonia, without having to give up to all the amenities of a mothership. Accommodation: 4 nights in the Mothership. Daily distance to Paddle: 18 to 20 kilometers.
